News 01.06.2023: German Research Foundation funds pediatric oncology CRC at Charité

In order to improve treatment options for children with neuroblastoma, researchers led by Prof. Angelika Eggert in Collaborative Research Center 1588 "Decoding and Targeting Mechanisms of Neuroblastoma Evolution" now want to investigate in more detail how such a tumor actually develops and evolves. The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the project for an initial period of almost four years with approximately 13.5 million euros.

The research of our clinic is focused on childhood cancers. We cover both basic as well as translational research. Our main interests lie in childhood leukemia, neuroblastoma and other embryonal tumors.
