Our aim is an integrated treatment of children and adolescents with cancer and other, non malicious diseases of the blood-forming system. Important component of the treatment is the care for children provided by their parents, the nursing staff and the psychosocial team. The Association for the Promotion of the Day Clinic for Children Suffering from Cancer' KINDerLEBEN e.V supports patient treatment and care as well as science and research.
The clinic consists of three institutions: wards 30 and 39i for inpatient, the Carreras Dayclinic for part-time inpatient treatment (T23) and an outpatient clinic for ambulatory treatment and aftercare.
